Imagine stepping out of your busy day to day life for just one minute, or ten. Seat yourself in a quiet, relaxing room and listen to a story of your choice. Inspired by storytelling and the comfort it brings, I conceptualized Story Booth, a free standing booth that offers stories from real people. I envision Story Booth’s to be placed in airports, train stations and shopping centers, specifically in high traffic areas that are easily accessible by foot. Stories are chosen by duration and include a variety of genres from uplifting to emotional narratives. Braille, subtitles in multiple languages and for the hearing impaired are available.
